So apparently I got a daily deviation a few weeks back, for an emoticon I did about six years ago. I did not know that that was a thing that happened. It was a... surprise to see over a thousand (and a half!) feedback messages appear in the few weeks since I last meandered in to check my account.
Woo, though. And also yay.
Thanks to the featurer, and fans and etc.
I guess you deserve some sort of an update on what I am doing currently. Well, I was making emoticons like Factory, and various comics back in my first year of university, when I had more time than I knew what to do with. That sort of... petered out when, in later years, I had much more coursework and - gasp - social events for me to resent attending. This being six years later, I am long since graduated. Now I'm a postgraduate research student (read: science wizard), who spends half of his time researching galaxies (read: SPAAAAAAACE) and the other half trying to relax from the constant, and oscillating stress levels (read: video games). Also stuff like gardening and cooking and blah blah responsible stuff (read: booooring). Point being I have basically no time at all to make pixel art or write anything. Maybe that will change, I 'unno. I tried to write a proper, no-foolin' novel last year, but that too was consumed by the research monster. Got to stop letting that guy out of the lab, really.
And yes, I did just raise your hope of updates with a journal post, only to smash them back down. Your tears are DELICIOUS.
