So I know it's very rare for me to upload something hand drawn, but despite my lack of manual talent I've managed to create a few sketches that don't look half bad through a less than usual drawing technique.

But being rough sketches, they belonged in the Scraps section (which nobody ever checks), so I'm linking it here for people to look at, and add their thoughts on the style, technique, or just my ability to draw.

Basically, I don't draw so much as I scribble, then define the outline and add some detail afterwards. Almost all of them were created from between one and three continuous strokes, with highlights added in red. Oh, and apologies for the ruled lines and all... inspiration generally doesn't wait and let you go and get some blank A4, so I worked with what I had, and didn't remove it after scanning because... well I'm not sure how I'd go about doing so (that didn't take forever). At the least, I fiddled with the contrast and colour curves so that it didn't look so blue as my scanner makes things, and pumped up the red so it was more visible.

Anyway, I'd like to know what you think about it. I have three or four full drawings which might be deviation-worthy based on the same technique, but I'd rather know whether the concept is terrible before I submit anything further.

Yeah... this is what I do when I should be revising. Yay me.
